I'm thinking of doing the Bally thing to my paired flippers on Target Alpha by adding another stacked switch to my lower flippers. Anyone ever do this? Does it buy you anything? Enquiring minds want to know.

Same reason Bally did it .

Always.... more power!

I know... orange dot... but that may be cheating more than the flipper mod.

Hahaha, go for it!! It's your machine, but I would try to make it easily reversible.

Always! I don't expect I'd ever sell, but if so you need to be prepared for the die hard's.

One thing to consider is that more power might be tough on the 5 bank.

I actually bend the bally ones either permanently closed or eliminate them on rebuilds because it ultimately doesn't matter IMO. I think they originally did it out of a sense that it would stress the circuit and were trying to reduce that. I make them go at the same time because flipper latency drives me nuts.
