I noticed on my Iron Maiden when replace the rubber the post sleeves on the the post the ball hits directly all have a tapered sleeve on them. I have not noticed this on any other game. Is this new with Iron Maiden? I does help a lot with air/jump balls. I replaced with normal titan stern sleeves and noticed the ball jumping around a lot more. I went back to the factory sleeves as it plays much better with less jump balls. Problem is now I am stuck with black.

Interesting! Haven’t heard of these or seen them before. Can you post a close up pic?

Tapered posts cut way down on airballs, but that means it will take longer for the playfield to fully dimple, lol.

TSPP used tapered post sleeves, I believe in red.

It's a slim taper, not like the old school taper
