Never have played, but I recently watched the gameplay video on the Papa site and I think the game looks awesome! (For that price range obviously).
I came of age in the 1990s when pinball was a little goofy. And that game screams 90s pinball to me- cheesy fun callouts, loopy ramps, no licensed theme, etc. definitely doesn't look too deep, but they don't all need to be. Especially if you have some depth to your collection.
