I don't know for the US but the last Totan I've seen for sale were from Italia at around 11000 dollars and were completly ruined. (the playfield was good for trash). So 16k might be top high end but we do see more and more IJ close from 18k or 20k (same generation).

In europe, from what I've seen, Totan has been more expensive than IJ (for instance) for a really long time till recently and there are much less Totan than IJ, maybe people and price fluctuate and depend also on availability.
We also see less and less TOTAN for sale from my point of view.

Quoted from hAbO:

TOTAN's amazing looking in every aspect and one of the first games I ever picked up. It has some very very cool pinball tricks - bed of nails ball-save, disappearing magnet at the genie. The ramp is smooth to shoot. In a larger collection it fits perfectly. In a smaller collection it may not be deep enough as its not a tough game to complete and can a little repetitive. Like most pins now this one seems to have become ooberly expensive. It does have a semi low production though.

I agree for the larger collection and the fact that it lacks challenge. There is a 2.0 version and it seems to have more modes and is harder but there are really few infos on it. I post messages on Mirco thread to get more infos, videos... anything ... but there was no answer unfortunatly.

The fact that the rule can be accessible to even not pinhead is great. Only thing is the fact that finishing the game at all your balll/game for even novice player, can lead to getting bored more easily.
The rules are good, some small things like removing the advance tales and making the tales a little bit harder would be a first thing and it we could have some new modes with better animations, even greater.
