Just got a TFTC and put Comet LEDS in it.
The GI blinks every time the multi-ball is ready and it's going to give someone a seizure.
Is there a way to stop that?

AFAIK, that's just how the game is coded. Data East GI turns on and off with a relay and it flashes the GI when it is coded to do so, like multiball.

You can hear the relay clicking on and off.

DE GI has no brightness levels like WPC, so that's what they did.

I don’t know about TFTC, but I owned a Simpsons DE for a bit and there was a software setting in the menu that would turn off the GI effects. Since Simpsons was an earlier machine, I would assume TFTC has that option as well.

There is a connector that you can unplug from the power supply board that will eliminate much/most of the strobe effects. I do it with all my DE/Sega games and makes it a LOT less annoying. Take a look at the top right of that board. I can't remember which one exactly though

Yeah get the EnerGI Maestro board, I installed it in my TFTC back in the day, as well as Baywatch and WWFRR, it greatly improves those machines.
