Hi, I have an Allied Take Five in really good condition, we've had it since about 1980. Now that I went to sell it the wire that controls the game start (well the wires attach to the small thick wired lever that triggers game credit) came off. It looks like it was soddered to the bottom of the board with the wire trigger, and I was just wondering what kind of soder to use. Oh, I guess I need a friend or refferal from member to activate my account so I can place an ad to try and sell this thing. I think somebody out there would appreciate this game! Any help/advice would be helpful.
Thank you guys,
Colette
P.S. Great, I'm going to attach a picture of the game and it's issue. Actually upon closer examination looks like the wires may have been crimped or clamped?

Fluxless solder, rosin core, or whatever's handy. Non-acid is preferred but for your application it's not critical.

Could be a female spade connector, the wire is crimped at the back of those.

I've asked the mods to move this to the tech: Early SS area so you can hopefully get better help.

I'm attaching a picture from a late 80s game for comparison. My wires are soldered (poorly) to the male spade terminals of the switch.

Here is the photo coolette sent. I can't add anything useful.
Any ideas other than a better photo?
