I am fixing up and shopping out my new TAF (new as in I just got it, not NIB new)

Anyways I was able to level the bookcase, but its only level on one half. Stupid thing is lower on the backside causing the ball to jump and its chipping away at the playfield. Is there a method/adjustment to fix this? I was thinking about pulling the whole thing off, but if there's an easy way, I'll take the info.

I just rebuilt Thing which was a pain to screw back in (why do all repairs happen in the hardest to reach parts of the playfield)?

Thanks in advance!

Yes easy fix add a couple of washers to the lower area and should be fine. I added mine to the back where the higher side was where the bolts are holding the bookcase mechanism are.

Assuming your base isn't broken.

When shipped your game had two flat metal spacers with a slot in them that went between the playfield and bracket on the rear two screws.

I'll check for those spacers when I get home tonight (my guess is they are missing). If those are gone, will Alchy's washer trick be the same (washers in that same spot)?

Thanks for the help!

Yes Alchy gave sound advice.

Bracket screws to playfield, don't over think which side has to go up or down to have bookcase level with playfield.
