I’ve been working on this all day trying to solve the problem to no avail. I’d appreciate help of pinsiders familiar with TAF.

Thing motor no longer has enough power to lift up, not a gearbox issue.

When I run the thing test, both the “bookcase” and the “thing” motors both go at the same time, which is too much load and the “thing hand” hasn’t got enough juice to lift.

The bookcase eventually stops and then “things hand” can easy motor up and back.

I can see a stray wire on the A-15340 motor board that feeds both devices but I don’t know where it should go. I feel like this is the problem.

It’s the grey yellow wire coming out of the lower connector. See photo attached.

What should I do?
