So I just finished doing a tear down shop job on a taf and all seems well after I put it back together
1 issue
when the bookcase open and triggers switch #81, it almost automatically fires the #87 switch Thing eject, which starts triggering the solenoid and the hand starts coming out looking for the ball
other than that the game is perfect and all switches are working perfect
I suspect its the cpu but if anyone has any ideas please let me know
Sounds like you've got some wiring that is tapping into stuff it shouldn't. I suggest going into switch test mode and triggering those switches manually while watching the screen to see if those other switches go off, too just to verify conditions. Then, I'd go into single switch test mode, get to 81, then hit the + button to see the wire colors/traces so when you lift the playfield to investigate, you'll know what you're looking for. Follow those wires around and back and make sure they're clear and not accidentally tapping into other areas they shouldn't.
