TAF - Ramp Switch Wiring Question

Hey everyone, I recently had a switch break on me for the left ramp on my TAF. I unsoldered the connections and intended to install a replacement switch. The replacement switch didn't come with what looks like a "resistor" that was soldered between the two outside posts on the old switch. I'm unable to use the one from the old switch because it snapped. Does anyone know where I can find this part or what resistor I can use in its place? BTW, I'm not certain it is a resistor, but it looks similar to one. Thanks in advance everyone!

that is a diode and must be installed correctly. With the white line facing the right teriminal. Check your other switches.
Any 1n4004 will work.
