SS is fun and a nice looking pin, but you may get bored with it pretty quick. There's only a handful of shots you can make throughout the game and the rules are pretty shallow. But, this makes it a pretty good pin for a novice player.
TAF has deeper rules, more modes, and more shots. The long-term entertainment value is probably better on this one.
