TAF --- It is an AWESOME game. My whole family loves it. The call-outs... sound effects... everything class-A material all the way.

A tried and true classic.

BUY IT

#4 11 years ago

TAF zero doubt.

#5 11 years ago

TAF hands down, especially if you have a small collection. CFTBL is nice but not as nice as TAF.

Boy if I could sell CP and purchase both pins I would. But I dont think would happen

#7 11 years ago

I don't think you need to sweat it... TAF is simply awesome.

#8 11 years ago

TAF....I didn't even have to think about it. Even being over 20 years old, the game still has charm and is fun to play

Well, you obviously have cash to buy 1 game already. Hence my suggestion to sell CP and just buy them both. Both of them are better than CP (sorry, it is just MHO).

Based on your original question, I have to ask what is the condition? TAF is typically harder to find in nice condition and is worth more (slightly) when in nice condition.

That said the real answer to your question is "Which do you like better?"

TAF - great quotes, good theme that aged well (well, CFTBL is not bad either)
Even if the best scoring strategy seems to be repetitive (manor's room, bear kick ramp to reopen the manor, new room...) TAF is fun to play. Seeing the thing flips for you is a delight.

I love Creech, but would agree TAF takes the win. Another vote to buy both.

#12 11 years ago

If you can only have one....TAF

BUT, the two go great together, Creech is a nice "change of pace" game for a small collection.

Creature.
Don't know what you guys are drinking, but for me, the
gameplay & flow DESTROYS the Addams - and I own one!

#16 11 years ago

TAF is the better game overall, but I love Creature.

As someone who likes games that make you earn your jackpots, CFTBL is one of the best of the DMD era imho. Hell, it takes six shots at least, playing it safe, just to light the lock. I will say that as long as you're an accurate shooter the ball is pretty much always under control, although missed shots are usually instant drains.

Try and get a bunch of games on both and see which one you like. I personally hated both of these games at first.

If you have a CP get rid of that steaming turd and but the Creech and the Addams. My opinion

#18 11 years ago

I say to buy both.

On a completely unrelated note, I have a TAF and CFTBL for sale...

Have both picked creech but really don't know....

#20 11 years ago

Voted for Creech because TAF is winning handily and doesn't need my vote. Two great but very different games.

This is the correct answer.

TAF....fun game!

Best bang for the buck is Creatures... TAF is great, but pricey considering the number of produced Pins...

#23 11 years ago

Had both at one time. CFTBL is a better theme, artwork, etc. TAF is an all around better game.

#24 11 years ago

bahahahahahah good one.

TAF over everything else in the world.

#25 11 years ago

no question. Addams is the clear winner!
