Working on a MESS of an Addams Family, which has been plagued by a whole host of issues and I have a couple more to figure out.
Most of the pop bumpers fire the bottom right pop bumper when they go off, as does the left slingshot. On top of that, none of the pop bumper switches are working. Are these separate issues? Or are they related? Any thoughts on where to begin poking around?

This is a machine I just finished a playfield swap on. I suppose I should add that. But, I made a GRAVE mistake in the job. I did not fix the pinball machine before I did the swap. It came to me with a whole SLEW of burnt coils, broken subways and was just generally in HORRIBLE shape. I have since, replaced the playfield, a bunch of coils, all the stainless assemblies have been replaced or rewelded. MPU has been replaced, the SDB has been gone through completely.

But in hindsight, I really should have fixed it before the PF swap, so I could know if this was an issue I introduced or not.

I will further check the switches when I get back to the shop later. In coil test, all the pop bumpers fire the bottom right pop as well. As does the left sling. Everything else seems to work fine. But none of the pop bumper switches register in switch test. As far as I know, all others do.

Ok, the switch issue is fixed, all switches work as expected. So the only issue now is that the Center Left Jet, Lower Left Jet, Left Slingshot and Right slingshot coils all fire the Center Right Coil. They do this in coil test as well. It does not SEEM to be a switch issue, but I am uncertain what is causing this. None of the other coils cause errant firings, I have also watched it in switch test to make sure the switch isn't just too close and firing, but it doesn't register a switch hit when the coils fire.

No, I am saying that they ALSO energize 12.

It is for certain a playfield wiring issue. The problem persists across two MPUs, verified just a couple hours ago.

Well, I found the issue. It would seem that I am the dumbass here. I’m not sure how I looked at this, at least once a day for the last week and missed it…. But there you go!
