Two Questions on the Light Star on TAF...

One... What does lighting the stars do exactly? I know it lights the stars before and after T-H-I-N-G on the backglass, but then what?

Two... Mine has a delay to light. When I hit the left orbit then right flip it up the ramp, the "Light Star" comes on AFTER the ball is already up. The only time actually light the star is if I bitch up the shot and then make it on a second try.

Is it supposed to work that way? Can anyone offer a suggestion how to make it register faster?

Right... I know how I am SUPPOSED to get the star... But it doesn't work on mine - there is a delay. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Update: Had a switch that wasn't working on the ramp most of the time. I guess if there was a longer delay then another of the ramp switches would register it, but if you made the shot immediately it was "looking" for the signal from the primary switch.

I don't know if this is the reason or not... but I adjusted the switch and now it works correctly.
