Although your game obviously had a lot of play time my HUO (I bought it new) TAFG had significant wear on the lockdown bar as well. Not quite as bad but pretty marked up where your hands sit. The oils eat through the clear coat and oxidation does the rest.
I purchased a new lockdown bar last year but just installed it last week. I was waiting to do a general cleanup rubber replacement on the game.

Cabinet looks great. Where did you find the decals?

pics came out fuzzy for some reason...

And when I click on them they get fat

Quoted from NJGecko:

OK...time to check out the new gold. What do we think...is it a big upgrade over what the machine had on it, or should I just keep the original legs?

I have a similar issue although my legs are not as "tarnished" I only put on the new ones in the front as you can't really see the back ones and left the other two highly polished ones packed away just in case.
