My apologies as I am pretty sure I recall a similar issue discussed but I can’t seem to find the relevant thread. So, to sum up, I am trying to understand why the pop bumpers will fire during initial boot up but not during test mode or game play on TAF. F104 was blowing intermittently and appears to have been related to a stuck switch which has since been adjusted. Unfortunately now none of the violet - orange solenoids will test fire in diagnostics or game play but do during boot up. Any thoughts on where to go next in my diagnostics? Thanks in advance!

They all fire during boot up? What does Switch Edge show for them?

They shouldn't fire at all during boot up which would mean either the switch(es) are physically closed, or reporting closed, or there is another problem somewhere. The switches being/reporting closed would stop them working during gameplay.

Something isnt right at power driver board.
Do you have manual?
My guess is one of your connectors is one pin off, to the left or right.
When is the last time you touched or removed a connector?
Or, what was the last thing you fixed?

Thank you both for the suggestions. Sorry for the delay in responding, but was traveling for business and finally got back to this last night when the family noticed a few new issues including the start button no longer working and a new credit dot. The start button was an easy fix as a piece of crud had fallen into the button preventing contact. As I had recently completed some board work, I confirmed that the cables were indeed correctly aligned. The new credit dot referred to a pop bumper switch that I that I had previously adjusted but was apparently now making intermittent closed contact when the playfield was moved from vertical to horizontal positon. After making a few more adjustments to the switches, for the time being it now appears to be working normally again and no longer blowing fuses.
