TAF Book case motor stoping during game play.

When I pick up the PF and tap on the motor with a small hammer it starts to work again. Do I need a new motor or can this be taken apart and cleaned?

Chances are it's not a 'cleaning' issue. It sounds like a wire/connection is opening and then closing back with the tap. Check the wires coming out of the motor body that connect to the lugs.
