TAF and TAF Gold ratings

Just wondering why they are rated separately in the Top 100? I have never played either. Are they that different?

They aren't that different, but the gold edition has some features in "gold", which I kind of dislike. So that's why I rated gold lower than the normal TAF.

On the other hand, the gold edition has better software, but most people who own the regular TAF have loaded the gold software into it.
