So what's the different about the gold edition then the normal?
Other then the price

#2 10 months ago

Buy in button, flipper button opto boards, gold side rails, legs, and lockdown bar, gold pop bumper caps, gold thing box, gold book case, gold wireforms, plaque on the front, signed certificate by many involved in the project, gold software. A couple years newer. Gold manual.

Minor playfield colors too I believe.

After TAF broke a record for units produced, it and the TAFG's have the gold artwork on the cabinets.

Things like that.

Not to be a dick BUT that is an easily searchable question for Google

#4 10 months ago

That, and the 30k price. Lolol

#5 10 months ago

Easy enough to answer here too, and someone was nice enough to do so... Also gives us a spot to talk about the THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLAR tafg listed with one picture in the market. Lol

Thanks LTG for that.
Is there any difference in the playing of it?
Or all just cosmetic and collectible things only?

Thanks again for the info as my google is broke

In all seriousness though. I'm just new and trying to learn.

That is what prompted my question.
I was thinking what makes that version worth THAT much more.
Being new in this I like playing them. Also the condition seems like it should be important to it. But the other stuff seems nice but not needed.

What's your thoughts?

I think that 30k price tag is stupid shit from a new poster who's idea of "tasteful" mods = rainbow puke all over it with those leds.

There is nobody, anywhere, that would pay that for that or ANY TAF Gold or otherwise, I don't care if HEP just finished it.

As someone in the market for one, I get notified when they list and that listing is a complete joke.

I'd pay $30K for an Addams Family, if it were made out of gold...

Yep pretty much it. Of course 1,000 made vs. 20,000 made. Kind of like the LEs vs. premiums of today. Hard to believe that the regular is a $10k game. I remember when they were $1,800.

Software has a few more options and buy in button.

Regular is closer to a 13k game nowadays, for much of anything you'd probably want that's not beat to shit or a project. it's amazing. 30k is still douchenozzle though.
