Does the game still work!?!
Super helpful aren't you?
OP you can search the forum to fill that in and get it to look much better
You bought a machine with a shit ton of plays on it,, vended/routed. This is how you can tell that, from shooter lane wear. This is why people want pictures of the shooter lane before they buy it. You can touch it up or they may sell a protector for that area of the machine, that would cover it up.
Quoted from TheLaw:My suggestion is not to let it bother you.
Or you can search for a filler to smooth it out.
Thank you, I’m new to the hobby and appreciate the advice.
Its a bit of work to restore that well, but you can do a decent improvement with cleaning, a light sanding, staining the wood, and a light clearcoat after paint touchup.
As you mention being new, this may be in your skill set or not. Otherwise, a thin metal shooter lane cover is out there.
