Fixing a friends T3 which had a blown F20 fuse. Put in a 5A accidentally and when coin door closed it smoked solenoid #14 cannon VUK, noticed on DMD it said solenoid #14 issue before closed coin door.

Replaced the coil.

Long story short, desoldered an unused 50V driver transistor from power driver board to transplant to Q14. So now, no fuse blown, but on coil cycling and test #14 VUK doesn't fire, all others do.

Noticed manual says Q1-Q14 are all 22NE10L. But on examination I see a few (maybe 4) of the 50V driver transistors say 30U317 on them. However most, including the only available unused one said 30S319 on it.

So, is this why Q14 wont fire? Is it a different type of 22NE10L?

I WILL test the new coil in another circuit to eliminate faulty part but need to know whats up with transistor, it needs to be a different spec, or other possibilities.

Thanks in advance, Warren
