Hi Guys!

I am a new T3 owner. I bought the machine about 3 weeks ago. The machine was in very good condition but I changed/ upgraded some things.
- New Legs/Bolts/Silicone Leg Leveler
- Mirrors side blades
- New Brite Illuminated Flipper Button set
- Black Button-Guard Side Rails For Stern
- Cleaned the cabinet with Crown Spray Power Cleaner
- Nem T3 ( Skynet) topper
- Stern bubble level ( original was lost )
- Original manual ( and T3 keychain

The Previous Owner changed the DMD screen, speaker decal etc... and the bulbs but not all....
My questions is these:
- Where can I buy small size #555 6,3V bulbs what is fitting in the machine ( the Comet is to large )
- Where can I buy small size #89 6,3V bulbs waht is fitting in the machine
- Where can I buy small size #905 6,3V bulbs waht is fitting in the machine

If you upgraded the T3 machine with LED pleas write me.

When is the pinball is complete I uploaded pictures.

Thanks.

In these 4 LED bulbs there is only 3,5V ( not 6V )
That's why weak the lights power
What can i do?

Thanks

Quoted from kguenther6:

The sockets are probably bad. You can try and clean the inside of them and squeeze the outside a little to make better contact. But it will probably keep acting up. I would just replace them.

Hi,
I cleaned but the problem is same. Need I replace the all 4 socket? These 4 bulbs are in one line. Why is only 3.5V everywhere? Is the new socket will be help?

Thanks.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Did you measure that from the contacts on the socket or from the inside of the socket?

I measure the contacts on the socket. Not from inside of the socket. But I check again.

Thanks

Ok I have a biggest problem. I just moved a little bit the cables and I checked sockets and just started the RPG mode....I turned off the machine. And now the 4 bulbs are working but the others not!!! If I start the RPG mode the all bulbs are lighting a little bit ( but the 4 bulbs full lighting ofcourse ) What is the problem? The relay? The cables? Or what?

Thanks.

Sounding more like a connector issue. Check the connectors and also make sure you have no cold solder joints.

Hi,
Ok I will check everything at weekend.
Thanks

I connect the harness to the 12 V plug below the right flipper button. Its working but I also use this for lighting buttons. Can I connected on the board? Or I need a 12v power splitter? ( link?)

The other problem: If I connected the topper there is a loud noise (Buzz) from the speaker. (???)

Thanks

Finally a found the problem! The bulbs does not working because the plug is broken. Do somebody know what is the exact name of this and where can I buy? I think the socket is good.

Thanks!

Finally received the Custom Decal I had designed for my T3. Turned out pretty good but didn’t realise till I put the panel back in that the bottom row of text isn’t fully visible but apart from that I think the colours & gloss blends quite well with the translite.[quoted image][quoted image]

This is really cool

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Oh man that's great. My white Leg Lights would match the white lit flipper button perfectly.

Thanks. The Bright Buttons are really looks great. ( https://www.pinballlife.com/britebuttons-illuminated-flipper-button-set-for-stern-white-star-sam-system-machines.html )

Could you upload pictures about your machine?

Wow.. sorry not sure about the install (looks like a pop-rivet, so you might need to remove and re-rivet (or maybe a small screw and nut to make future repairs easier?) , so it might be a trickier one , but wondering if you could share where you purchased this? Mine is broken somehow . thanks-

Yes pop-rivet....I don't know how I change..but Im thinking

I ordered this from Europe ( https://www.pinball.center/en/ ) and my friend brought it to me.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

I need a help. I replaced the flip coils ( both )coil sleeves, coil stop etc... and now buzzing the both flip. I replaced back the old coil etc... and the buzzing noise is same. I tried every combination old coil, new coil... What can I do? The coil stop is the old because the new ( from pinball life ) does not fitting.

How to put it back?

Thanks

Quoted from koji:

Do you have a video of the buzzing? is it constant when the coils are not energized? or just when energized?
This is all new since you installed new coils, and you revert to the old ones, and still a new buzzing issue?
Maybe check the end of stroke on each flipper assembly? do they both buzz the same way? I do not think this is a T3 specific issue, perhaps post as a new help question.
This pinball repair group is pretty responsive as well:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/609432482409545/

Tomorrow I make a video. The buzzing is not constant, just when energized.
Do you know make picture about your Coils? I uploaded the pictures but I dont know how I put back.
I try to join the facebook group

Thanks

Quoted from Pinrookie:

I believe your new coil sleeves may caused this buzzing issue. I had the same issue with my Ironman. My solution was swapping a few coil sleeves unit the buzzing sound was gone. I know it is a pain but I sorted this buzzing issue at the end. Good luck.

I replaced back the old coil, coil sleeves, coil stop ect...and the buzzing noise is same.
