Looked for a club for us owners and future owners and didn't see one so I thought I'd start one. There are 2 owners in my area that I know of and was wondering how many other Pinsiders have one. Hope to see you here.

Got my mint game about a year and a half ago and have been enjoying and modding it ever since.

#2 7 years ago

Here's my Chrome Edition T3. Everyone enjoys playing this pin. Easy to understand and plenty of rewarding shots. I love mine!

In!!

I have T2 and T3 and prefer to play T3 all the way. I love the metal ramps!

#5 7 years ago

In!! Still trying to decide which LEDs to go with for this title. Any other owners care to post pics of their machine with LEDs?

#6 7 years ago

Hey GREAT to see the club getting off to a good start. Love the chrome look. Here's a couple shots of my pf. I've added about 200 leds....a little nuts hugh. But because they are red it's actually easy on the eyes. With the mirror blades it looks like I added 400.

Great to see you here. I have Comet white clear dome like what comes in new Sterns. I wanted to keep the pf and plastics colors stock. I also added 3 Pinballbulbs double spots and a color changing strip on the curved edge of the apron which has about 50 programmed effects. I also added a red chasing strip the length of the shooter lane and led strips inside the entrance and exits of the subway behind the backboard.

#8 7 years ago

That's insane MustangPaul...I love it!!! I was leaning towards Comet because I've heard a ton of good things about them and OldPinGuy seems like a solid dude. Did you go with the twin SMDs? Are the GI bulbs all clear domes as well?

#9 7 years ago

Something else I've been meaning to ask other T3 owners about "Mystery": on my machine, literally every game seems to award the same mystery items in the same order. Award Weapon, Bonus X, etc. there really seems to be no randomization. Anyone else notice this?

Yes it is a little overboard and I'm not done, I'm putting my Leg Light-Up on it and I just sent my gun shooter inner frame work to Pinsider Beatmaster so he can make a shooter plate light up, like his regular shooter housing light up. T3 has a plate like Batman Forever that holds the gun handle on the cab but a different shape. My game will be the first, when I get it I'll post pictures so people can see if they like it and want one. It will be like my BF plate light up only smaller but will have the same clear plastic bolts that will light up also. Here's a picture of my BF shooter plate with clear bolts.

Yes. My game is the same way.. Eventually it does become more random but always seems to start out that way. Every now and again I see extra ball and Big points!!

Looks to be in fine shape, cameras always make blue look purple. Welcome to the club.

I had a T3 that I bought new and regret selling it , great game, if I ever come across a perfect example I'm buying it, most have wear around flipper buttons and not a big fan of the lolly pops. The game in chrome looks great !

#15 7 years ago

Ok T3 brothers, I need your help. My RPG cannon is weak. I installed a new coil as it was the wrong part number and have a new sleeve in there too. It's definitely more powerful now but still falling short. I know this is a common problem. What's the deal here? How do I get this thing blasting?

#16 7 years ago

check the bracket alignment. 90% of the time when shot is weak, is because the coil plunger is not hitting the ball dead center. IT's top or bottom and going to lose a dramatic amount of force. Also make sure the tip isn't broken off and not fully ejecting the ball.

#17 7 years ago

Wait till you guys see the light up shooter housing beatmaster made for my game ....DAMN! When I put it on I'm gonna use the clear bolts (like I did with my Batman Forever) to attach it cuz they light up too. My Leg Light-Ups look great on the game but beatmasters shooter light up is gonna put the game OVER THE TOP!

#18 7 years ago

OK guys I'm gonna wake ya up, it's to quiet around here. Here is beatmasters shooter plate light up for our game. If you want one pm him. I love it, fits perfect, super simple install took about 10 minutes and is nice and bright. Matches my leg light-ups perfectly. My camera isn't very good, everything is brighter in real life.

Here is your chance, I have a true fully doc HUO with receipts T3 for sale. Under 900 plays literally looks like it was just taken out of the box. GI leds, fresh set of rubber on her and DMD glare eliminator. PM if any interest with an email address if you would like pictures.

Just put up my best score on T3 since I picked it up last year. Also, why the heck isn't this game in the top 100? Everyone go rate this game and get it where it belongs

image_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpeg

#24 7 years ago

Excellent score, I haven't gotten that much yet. I think it's a great game too but I don't rate games. Have you done the service notice upgrade on the shooter coil yet?

#25 7 years ago

Oh yeah, ran into that problem shortly after I got it. I replaced the coil, transistor and added the harness so it doesn't happen again. Other than that it's been pretty low maintenance.

#26 7 years ago

Good, just checking. I had to do mine too.

Who has dealt with the RPG having trouble hitting the top target? I can get it once in a while, just nicking the bottom, but something seems off. Have a look at the picture below, does anything look amiss? I'm debating how to address it.

First thing I noticed is the plunger is not hitting the ball on center, the ball sits way too low, so I cut an old flipper rubber and put it under to align the ball better.

I think the tip of the plunger is worn, I believe the total length is 3.57" if the spec I saw is right, mine is a little short, so probably need a replacement.

The alignment seems a little off, as you can see at the bottom if it were to shoot it would hit into the bracket. Likewise, it doesn't seem to go quite as far as it should at the top of the cycle. So I'm wondering if either the roller pin is worn down or missing a covering band, or maybe the brass wheel is supposed to have a band on it so everything is shifted up a bit.

It also seems that recoil spring is a little strong, maybe steeling some energy, only needs to be strong enough to return the plunger and no more.

I can probably get it sorted with a combination of these things, but wondering if anyone knows the best solution.

By the way, mine had button ware, and I made some carbon fiber guards to cover it, it fits pretty well. If anyone wants a set for theirs, you can have a peek at them here and get in touch:

Already got the RPG working well with a combination of those things I listed, but I'm still curious if anyone sees anything wrong in that pic. Also, the exact replacement plunger is expensive, so I bought one for less than half the price that had a longer nylon extension. I cut it down and it works fine for me.

#29 7 years ago

Aside of it being REALLY dirty and having to raise the ball up it looks fine. Do a before and after picture.

Sounds like "Competition Mode" might be set to on. It should be adjustment 43. Check it out.

No alt tl that I've seen, no game in chrome, I picked up the new LED display but have yet to put it in, no speaker upgrade except xternal powered sub, yes leds with OCD board which works great, 2 smd white clear dome bulbs from Comet really make the insert facets sparkle and not look color bombed. I just put on an LE apron with purple lit up windows and as you can see from my early pictures led strips and mirror blades look great.

I sell the Leg Light-Ups, Beatmaster the shooter housing light up so they hook up sepreatly using a DK pinball 8 way power splitter sold by PBL.

Have fun with your game and welcome to the club.

#34 6 years ago

Better late then never?

I think I see something off, because I just did the same thing

I had to replace that coil, it was broken. The only coil sleeve that I had looks like yours, it's sticking out too far. My RPG works fine, but I'm pretty sure thats the wrong coil sleeve.

Quoted from HighVoltage:

but I'm still curious if anyone sees anything wrong in that pic.

Man that's one hell of a T display. If I may suggest my Leg Light-Ups and Beatmasters shooter housing light ups to complete the look of the games. They would look great ESPECIALLY with all the chrome. WOW!!!

Make sure you do the service bulletin upgrade about adding another diode to the shooter coil so you don't take out the coil and transistor. Great to have you in the club.

#49 6 years ago

In 2003 put out Simpsons, T3, Lord of the Rings. My next game I'd like to find is a HUO, low play, LOTR, I just feel they built some quality games in the past, not crazy about what there doing now

#50 6 years ago
