For the purpose of this thread, I need to define a few things...
Game resets: machine completely reboots like you cycled the power to the game,complete with sound board reset and boot screen on Dmd.

Game restarts: the machine starts a new game as if the start button had been pressed. In this case the opening screen displays on the dmd and the score resets.

I had an odd issue pop up with my T2 last night. I was in the middle of multiple ball when the game restarted. I stopped playing and reset the machine and started playing again. Sure enough during my next multi ball, the game restarted again. I am familiar with the WPC reset issue, but I’ve never had the game just restart. Could this be a ROM issue or possibly a switch matrix problem?

so just to be clear... The game is not resetting, it is staring a new game. The +5 volt circuit is hanging around 4.9v.
