This is going to be fun and interesting. My only advice is dont be afraid to step away for even 2 weeks if you get frustrated for whatever reason. I am glad you are using the install kit. perfect job on the t nuts. it was those pop bumper nail screws that I started developing the kit. After I clear, its hard to get them to sit level, so the kit helps.
If you have installed t nuts without removing the clear, sometimes the teeth fold and you have to use a set screw to keep them from spinning, pulling them in with your screw gun. If you do wack the pf, dont do it on your roticery. put it on the bench with wood right under the spot you are going to hit to absorb the energy.

I think I mentioned before, but predrill, predrill predrill. I use the sizer and I use a drill bit one size smaller than whatever I am screwing.

The solvent for the glue is acetone if you spill any.

godspeed my friend

If you remember you may want to keep track of your hours. In hindsight it will be good to know

Quoted from Completist:

Ron sells a kit which is useful for preparing the pf to be repopulated. Dremel bits of various shapes to remove clear where it needs to be removed, a glue / syringe to lock down the edges after you remove clear to ensure the clear wont lift after. Some other handy goodies as well like a hole gauge and a stone to clean clear out of the bits... check out R9n’s thread he had more deets in there.

Written better than I could have for sure.
You can just contact me if interested. They are 88 shipped
Sorry to hoark your thread. I gotta keep the lights on here

Looking fantastic! Can I ask what you do for a living? For a "NOOB" you are rocking this thing out in record time and looking perfect. I am guessing an engenier? shop smith?
I have a friend who sets up and maintains the machines at a production plant, so working on pinball came perfectly natural to him. Before I got in to pinball my mechanical skill level was the equivalent of a brake job on a subaru outback. I was a finish carpenter but totally different skill set and tools.

Good call on 2 rotisseries! That would make it a lot easier.

Everything looks fantastic. when I do wood restoration that is going to be painted, I sand and patch, sand, and I put down a coat of primer. Once the primer is on I have a better idea of how its going to look and any holes or rough spot stand out now that everything is one color. So then I fine tune it and prime again.
Just what my process has evolved to.
