Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Williams, 1991I was playing my T2 this morning and in the middle of the game the left flipper stopped working. I first thought that it might be the fuse so changed the fuse. Flipper still did not work. Put it in diagnostic mode, left flipper shows open, but not responding. Checked the wires on the left flipper button, looks good. Also checked the wires at the flipper coil and checked the connectors on the board. I am at a loss, any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks
Check fuse with a meter, don't just change them. New one could have blown too.
Then I'd carefully go over solder joints on the coil lugs. Cold solder joint ? Thin wire from coil windings to coil lugs broken or cracked and you can't see it ? Swap left and right flipper coils, see if problem moves.

Thanks for your reply. I figured out the issue. The connector to the flipper matrix needed to be reseated
