Have you pushed dead center on the ASIC chip with the game booted?
I had JM get all sorts of weird and funky on me - half the lights working, DMD not working, GI in and out. I pressed on the ASIC chip dead center, and the game cleared right up.
Probably a 1 in a million try here, but figured I'd at least try to help.
