Hes askin $1250 but its kinda beat up. Is this hard to fix? What should I offer in this condition?
Quoted from BLACK_ROSE:I'll want $ 1500.00 or More for mine,, when i sell it that is..
Let me know when your ready to sell it
A lot of T2s were made and I don't necessarily think that is a $1200 game. However, it does look pretty complete and will clean up nicely. The skull and glidercraft are pretty expensive, and it looks like they are undamaged. If the cannon works fine and nothing else is wrong, you probably have a machine that is worth at least $1000. The cabinet condition is what is bringing it down.
You dont play the cabinet!! Touch it up as best you can and slide it between two games with good cabinets or against a wall!!

900 bucks is what i would offer
That's exactly what I offered
is WHAT hard to fix? How does the game actually play? any errors/non working switches etc?
I dont see anything wrong with the playfield. no wear. some cabinet dings and scratches.
should clean up awesome. what's wrong with it that you would have to lowball the guy down to sub-1k$?
imo at 1200 bucks it's completely fair, especially if local. I'd be all over it for 1000-1200 if it was nearby.
I don't see any major issues there either. The cabinet dings - unfortunately - are a fact of life for about 99% of the machines we encounter.
Assuming nothing not disclosed in the pics, that's pretty much "market price" for the Midwest. Nothing wrong with trying to squeeze a few hundred more off, but if the seller is patient he'll most likely achieve that asking price.
So it's really a matter of "how bad do you want it"?
I paid close to that for mine, and while the head isn't quite as beat up, my playfield isn't quite as nice either..If you want the game, and you are able to play it, I am sure you can squeeze him down on price. I would run a switch/diagnostic test and make sure that everything works and make sure that damn cannon functions well. It's an awesome game, but if you can't get him down, I would do my damndest to make sure the game functions as it should..
