So I've had my T2 for a couple weeks now and I'm loving it. It's a routed game and definitely shows it, but it still plays good and I want to keep it that way. When winter hits and I take to hibernation in my basement, I plan on tearing down the playfield and doing a thorough cleaning and replacing of worn parts. My question is...are there certain parts of the boards that are known to fail and cause major problems? Certain capacitors or resistors that are considered preventative maintenance? I see Marco has a couple rebuild kits for the driver board and high voltage.

The parts on the boards look like they could be original or at least are very old replacement parts. I'm just looking to prevent any headaches in the future and replace anything thats known to cause problems.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I've already checked the connectors and none of them look burned. 2 look newer so I assume at one point they were burned and replaced. I replaced all the bulbs (half were burned out) with LEDs so there's less stress on the boards. I also replaced the batteries with Energizer Ultimate Lithiums.

Thanks for the helpful info. I'll leave the boards alone for now.
