So I am leaning towards the switch since it seems to not do it when it was adjusted wider but if I try and adjust it back so it registers balls it starts doing it again. I will try tapping it with a screwdriver and see if that does anything but I am going to adjust it wide so it doesnt register and playing a bunch of games to make sure it definitely isn't doing it.
