I just acquired a Raven machine and it has intermittent sound issues. Gameplay sounds always work however the background music comes and goes. Occasionally hitting a target makes the background music lockup and it just produces a tone. Any ideas where to start with this one? Thanks!

80B sound issues are tough to diagnose.
A significant portion of the time, I find that the RAM for that "side" of the dual processor system has failed.

You can "diode test" the RAM, comparing it to the other RAM on the board. Sometimes you get lucky.

Thanks Chris. How do I “diode test” the ram?
