will check my replacement swemmer board and get back to you to see how its set up , My educated arm chair quaterback guess would be if it sat unpowered for a while ....the caps on the display board may be bad ...they usually are

check the data lines ...any open line blank display also check the chip and tube socket connections a lot of pinsiders find problems there with broken solder connections
