TX-Sector
Gottlieb, 1988I recently turned on my TX-Sector (after a long lapse).
Noticed on the high score table, the #1 slot had the initials replaced with the number 6; the score itself, had the number 8 throughout the entire score.
Just played a few games... the rest of the scores I entered on the high score table were fine???
Was this a momentary snafu??? Anybody else encounter this behavior before?
I should preface that ground mods were done to said machine.
I'm currently having the same issue! Did you get a resolution?
The high score is a a bunch of 8's and the spot where you put in three initials is "6,6,6,"
I can't take a photo just yet but will in a few.

Replaced it.
Installed this NVRAM from barakandl. If you've ever read that Gottlieb boards cannot use NVRAM's because of the select lines(?), barakandl's design has onboard logic which makes his NVRAM battery eliminating module compatible with Gottlieb sys80/A/B. I believe there is also a PS thread from vid1900 reviewing the product and possibly regarding installation.
