Probably just a fuse.

Find the bridge rectifiers in the back box. One of them should be for the coils. Test for voltage on the red and black wires.
Quoted from Puffdanny:I found these and wouldn't you know one has a red and black wire
Measure the black and the wire directly across from it ( orange ?). This is DC volts. Then measure the other pair ( red ? )in AC volts. If you have AC volts but not DC volts, you need a new bridge rectifier.
You also need to add fuses to both these bridges to prevent a wire melt down.
Quoted from Puffdanny:.the br next to it gets a dc reading but not an ac.
Sounds like the meter isn't working in AC.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Measuring orange to black in dc i get no reading
Sounds like you need a new bridge rectifier. From your pic both rectifiers are original to the game, I would replace them both and add the fuse for each.
Quoted from Puffdanny:changed out both br and no change, still no coils firing besides flippers.
Get your DMM working or get a new one. Check AC in and the DC out.
Quoted from Puffdanny:I did find this crispy connector and a piece on the far right popped off when inspecting, obviously needs replacing do you think this is our culprit?
This is for GI lighting, has nothing to do with the trouble you are having. This does need to be fixed later tho.
Quoted from Puffdanny:I get 8 on the left and 26 on the right
Replace the fuse with a good one.
Quoted from Puffdanny:I've pulled and tested all the fuses 3 times
I have seen slow blow fuses open up under load and go back to normal once the load is removed. Or the fuse holder is dirty or loose fitting.
