If you can get to attract mode by quickly power cycling twice with the coin door open, the RAM is probably ok but not getting battery voltage.
Measure the voltage right at the ram chip. Ground and pin 22 of the ram chip, top left corner. If the battery voltage is missing at the ram chip check the diodes near the battery.
I don't recognize that sram chip being used. What is the part number? I can't make it out from picture but maybe a 2101 which will drain the battery very fast. It looks to be in an IC socket already tho so I would just get a 5101 nvram.
Edit. maybe vt7c122? Quick look on the phone i don't see battery back up talked about at the top of the datasheet or standby currents listed so may not be intended for battery backed up ram.
