I'm working on a Firepower right now and this is my first system 6 game. Note that I have not powered this game on yet. I have a question about the mounting bracket that the logic board sits in. This bracket is metal, of course, and is mounted to the metal lined backbox. The part of the logic board that sits in it has the typical green board insulation around it that indicates that no metal part of the board should be touching the bracket. Now, while the boards in my game are actually in really nice shape, there are parts of the insulation that has worn away over time and now some of the metal is showing through and touching the bracket. Typically the outskirts of a circuit board are for grounding anyway but this area was insulated for some reason. Could this be a problem? Thanks in advance.
