I have a Road Kings with sporadic reset/freak out and high score retention/corruption issues. I've verified that the problem isn't the batteries, as I have fresh ones in there and measure consistent voltage coming from the battery pack. There's definitely some corrosion on the board from the previous owner that I've tried to clean up, and I wonder if the voltage to/from the game's RAM might be causing these freakout.

The problem is, I'm not sure where the RAM is. I've seen U18 and U25 thrown around. Can anyone clue me in?

U25 is the Ram you want. 5116 or 6116 usually

The RAM is typically soldered in on Sys11. If you go through the trouble of removing it you should consider replacing it with NVRAM.
