Shown are 2 BK2K MPU's. On the first pic (with wooden dowel batteries), there is a jumper between U49 and the diagnostic lights on the board. On the other pic (with removed battery holder) the jumper appears to have been snipped away. Can someone tell me what that jumper is for, and if it being gone is a problem? Both games seem to play fine, but curious as to why the jumper would have been snipped away on the one. Thanks

W7 - Language Select Jumper

W7 is used only in games up to Cyclone. Games with 16 digit alphanumeric displays do not use this jumper. If installed, the game automatically reverts to English after losing the content of the RAM. If a different language is preferred, the "adjustments" menu provides an option to change the default language. Only a few early System 11 game ROMs contained multiple languages. For these games, if W7 is removed, the game generally defaults to German text.

Later System 11 games used language specific ROMs at U26 and U27.

It appears BK2K does not use this jumper. Awesome! Thanks for the guidance.
