Quoted from Ericpinballfan:I'm confused, why isn't Fire!, Earthshaker, and Riverboat Gambler in this linked games?
sssHHHH!
Quoted from trueno92:Anyone know what the ball hunt logic is supposed to be in Big Guns?
Say if a ball is stuck on a post... and there is no activity on the table for 15-30 seconds, no targets getting hit or slings firing, the lock hunt starts going off and will fire any balls in any of the locks by default.
Does anyone know what or why this happens?
bad switches ( not registering) game can't find ball
Quoted from Daditude:Which one is your favorite?
What is the best system 11 game?
Without showing favoritism to my children BC!
Quoted from Boof-Ed:Swords of fury is the only one I don’t seem to be clicking with at the moment. I’m trying to gel with it but maybe it’s just not for me. All the others I absolutely love and hopefully will never leave.
I feel the same with swords .
Quoted from radium:Sanded my scratched up F14 speaker panel. From 320 through 3000, but it still has very fine scratches. I need to buy stuff tomorrow to buff it, hoping that removes the rest of scratches.

Swirl remover (ebony)
Quoted from radium:Is that a product name? I tried meguiars ScratchX but it did nothing.
I really suck at buffing/polishing. Wish someone would make a guide. Not much info out there.
Auto paint supply near you tell them your looking to remove swirls !

This site has all type of buffing a compounds and equipment
Also powdercoating supplies do it your self !
Quoted from radium:Did some polishing. It definitely looks better but did not remove the fine scratches. I’m not sure if the problem is my sanding or my polishing.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Here you can see the fine scratches only in the light angle.

I only had sanded all the grits, maybe I need to machine sand? I do not have ultra fine grits for my orbital.
What was the final grit # you sanded with?
Quoted from radium:3000. I think my hand sanding is too shitty. Just got paper for my DA orbital to try tonight.
Try wet sanding and change paper as needed build up on paper will scratch!
Quoted from radium:Good tip!
I sanded with the DA. Came out better but I have machine swirl that isn’t polishing out. Maybe I’m not spending enough time on each grit. Seems like I’m having a hard time with this.
Sometimes less is more!
Quoted from radium:Same as any other metal apron restore. Probably the most info out there will be for WPC.
There’s lots of options depending on how bad your apron is and how crazy you want to go on the restore. You can take it to a powder coat place and pay them to sand blast it for you. From there you could powder coat out or prime and paint and clear. New art can be decals or stencils/airbrush. If you clear a decal start with a few really light mist coats before you flood it. If the decal is cheap buy two and learn on a piece of scrap so you don’t melt it on your newly painted apron.
I wouldn’t “sand blast” it for fear of warping it.
A light media blast would be better.
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Added 2 more and I am super excited! Unfortunately the weather is crap so I have to wait to get them onto the basement.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Lots of cardboard and a mattress at the bottom of the bilco doors
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:If I was more confident in myself (and maybe hit the gym a little more) I could PROBABLY be on the bottom end and let the stair sliders on the handtruck do the work and I just prevent it from sailing down the steps, but if something went wrong it'd be bad for both myself and the game. Darn those STEEP steps
Chris
Glad you made it home safely !
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:I am currently BEYOND frustrated with my Police Force
Some background - I got this as a working project. There were issues with the diverter. The coil was burnt up and the assembly was seized. I got that worked out but the diverter still did not work.
I determined that the transistor and pre driver for the Diverter coil were bad. Or so I thought. I replaced those components, but no change.
I bought a replacement CPU from Victor (Dumbass here on Pinside) - got everything hooked up and still nothing from the diverter. This led me to believe that it was not a MPU issue. But here's when the OTHER issue starts....
I bent a pin on the sound processor ship when transferring them over so the "new" board didnt have sound. I got a replacement and put it in the new board and I have sound again.....sort of. Music works but nothing in the sound test. I was missing the sounds and voices. I moved all the chips back to the original board and have the same issue. So I got replacement soiund ROMs (U22, U21, U4 and U19). Replaced those today but STILL only have music. No other sounds or speech.
I can live without the diverter for now as the game will still play, but no sounds is bothering me. Any ideas? I have poured over all the connections several times and do not see anything I have missed.
Cross posted in the Police Force Club thread as well.
Thanks!
Chris
Problem solved give it to me!
