Sign me up!
I am reluctant to join any club that would have me as a member, but I love me some Sys11.

I have:
Earthshaker
Taxi
Pinbot
Space Station

Quoted from SPeD66:

Added sys11 number five to the lineup today.

That's quite the coin door on GL. Nice looking pin otherwise.

Just added an excellent condition "Space Station" to the fleet

Great game. Congrats!
You must re-dock.......................

I have added Whirlwind to my earthshaker !

Nice. I'm now jealous. Both great games, better together.

I'll second this suggestion.

Quoted from jdoz2:

Does anyone have a spare display they would sell? I may just upgrade to the x-pin but I figured I would check for a used display first.

You can also get single replacement displays here. Look good and work great. Not really an option if you need more than one, but a good option if one goes bad.

Damn that Whirlwind looks nice next to Earthshaker.

Like it belongs there! Congrats!

Quoted from mainelycoasters:

Why do I feel the system 11's are some of the better pins ever made.

Because it's true. They are well designed, well built, generally great games. Williams was just on a roll the whole system 11 era. And I was just the right age to see them come out.

Jokerz pin. Can anyone tell me the correct capacitors to get for the upper playfield switches (ace, king, queen)?

I don't know this game, but are you sure you don't mean "diodes" instead of "capacitors"?

Quoted from the96stang:

Added 4 this weekend.

Not quite. Sorcerer is a System 9 game, not an 11. Still a great game, but not an 11.
(I'm still jealous anyway........... )

Quoted from kilmarnock1350:

Help! Lost all my GI on the lower half of play field. Slings, drains, upper left flipper, left side 'yogav' flasher GI, and lower TOMCAT target GI, and the radar.

Hold on. Is it just the GI in those locations that's out, or the GI and all the solenoids you list?
If it's just the GI, I would suspect connector issues. Look for burnt connectors in the backbox.

moving building but has issues so disconnected

You gotta fix that!
EARTHSHAKER!

Looking for details on how to do this... thanks in advance.

Lots of good info here:

Quoted from tomh52722:

Also, the main bulbs under the playfield don't seem to be standard bulbs, with black casings on each of them.

I think you mean 555 wedge base bulbs in twist sockets. The sockets simply twist out of the circuit boards so you can easily change the bulbs.

The larger bulbs are 906 wedge base flash lamps in larger twist sockets. They only light briefly at times during game play. Be careful with Space Station, there a a couple of odd, high voltage flash lamps that are easy to replace with the wrong bulbs. Do some reading in the Space Station Club thread.

Quoted from nerdygrrl:

Hey guys, does anyone have a source for early system 11 style machine post/studs that hold the star posts on?

Try Action Pinball. They had some posts that no one else seemed to have last time I was looking.

Edit: Is it this one? Shows as "out of stock".

Maybe... Which Sys 11 do you have? Not seeing one in your collection.

Anyone know why Kohout (pinballpcb) stopped selling these?

Just guessing not enough demand to justify. But that sucks.

Quoted from shicketmaster:

My WW machine started scoring crazy. When I start a game, it is giving me points just for the ball going into the shooter lane and every time I hit the flipper buttons. I ran a switch test and nothing is stuck on. Also, when I hit the flipper buttons it just show the appropriate switch and nothing else switching on simultaneously. Any ideas?

Go back into switch test and give the game some taps, nudges, and hits. See if any of the switches are maybe gapped too close and are scoring due to vibration during a game. If not that, maybe a bad diode on a switch?

There was a project Jokerz on CL near here with display issues recently for $850, if I remember correctly.
Millionaire is the one that seems to get no love.

Quoted from ralphs007:

How hard would it be to remove the head on a System 11 ?

It's not bad at all unless someone has hacked around with the wiring.
There are several connectors to take apart, that will generally only go back together correctly.
A couple of large bolts that hold the head in place. Most system 11s also have hinges. So you have to take a couple small bolts out of the hinges once the head is folded down. Not bad at all.
I took the head off the Grand Lizard I picked up yesterday as part of moving it, and have had the heads of a couple other of my system 11 games.
