Quoted from ViperTim:

I’m in the club, spending a lot of time on this Big Guns that I honestly don’t even like playing.
But it’s a great project for me and the kid.
I’m going to need to paint some on the playfield where the mylar is missing and that is fine.
But what would my approach be on lowering the raised inserts in the middle? Especially the “Special” arrow and those around it.
They are raised and has pulled the mylar so it’s released from the playfield.
I want to press the inserts down to make them flush but I’m guessing this will leave the mylar all loose. Should I cut it out? Glue it down using a syringe?
Not doing a full restoration that will be perfect because nothing is perfect about this game.
Just want to make it good enough/nice.

I just bashed down the inserts on my taxi, then put a playfield protector over the top after putting new insert decals on.
I also removed the pop bumper mylars without any damage.
