I've got just one System 11 in my collection. The best one, I think. It's Banzai Run. It's been in pieces for years. Planning on building it up next winter.

Last weekend I finished up my Banzai Run. Oh I love this game. With a fresh clearcoat, it plays even more amazing.
The project had been standing in parts in my parents' home for more than 4 years. Before I owned it, it switched owners at least 2 times while in parts. The owner before me had it for 3+ years as well. In all, it wouldn't surprise me if it hasn't been in one piece in 10 to 15 years.
Whole again
Ooh, nice project!
Quoted from rotordave:It looks like it has the original varnish type top coat.
While it’s out, have it sprayed with 2k clear coat. If you don’t want to tackle it, an auto painter will do it for you for a reasonable price.
Maybe ask the pinball guys around your area if they have a guy they use.

I second this. Definitely go for a nice 2k clearcoat. Totally worth the effort, especially for a project of this magnitude. The fact that the playfield is unpopulated makes it an even easier choice.
It looks better, plays smoother and lasts longer. You will not regret it.
