Hello!
I am replacing bumper switch and a flipper coil on my system 3 Lucky Seven. I have got the correct parts based on the part numbers, but there are differences with diode etc which makes me uncertain.

Does anyone know how to wire the diodes etc on the new parts vs original?

Bumper switch:
the replacement switch does not have the top metal blade which has one diode leg and white red wires is connted to on the original. How to solve this?

Flipper coil:
The original has two diodes across the three logs.
The new one only have one diode in the middle. Can i just attach the wires as original and ignore the two diodes?

Thanks
Morten

Looks like someone added an extra diode on your flipper coil - according to the parts manual, there's only one diode on that era flipper coil so the replacement should be correct. Hook up wires same as original.

The pop bumper switch you're going to have to add a 1n4004 diode to it. That era williams game should technically have a 22uf capacitor and 100 ohm resistor as well, but Lucky 7 might have been before they starting doing that.

Thanks. How should the diode be added, do you know? On oroginal the diode is attached to the top leaf lug, and then an extra metal lug on top, but on the replacement there is no top lug :O
