I grew up with TopGun and RollerGames on the tubes.

F14 really pulls me in with lightening loops, habitrail ball locks, a villian with kickback, beacons and lightshow

Rollergames has colour, gimmicky magnet, high speed layout, and a random peppering of 90s geometric shapes in colors reminding me of shrooms on pizza.

Which is your go to and why?

Rollergames for me. Just always seemed a lot more fun. The quickness of F-14 borders on the cheap side quite often IMO. Also, I find the RG layout just more fun.

I completely agree

F14 is a favorite for me. But Rollergames has that particular edge and fiercely fast.

Both are very fun players. Rollergames will last longer in a collection though, F-14 is a little one dimensional. It depends on the person really, F-14 does satisfy that need for speed, but RG has better shots and is more fun for me.

Great feedback, guys.
I can get some very long ball times on f14, and is actually made me a better player, esp when I go back to high speed.
Just find working up bonus levels and multiball to be a bit of a chore and was looking to change things up.. I can get to 2 million in f14 on standard difficulty pretty regular now, but I loose a bit of steam breaking 3 million as you are left really havibg to work for it...

Still a great game every time I get to it, but wouldn't mind changing it up...
