Hello just purchased a non working Taxi with a smoked cpu. Bell rings once but no displays light and game is dead except for G1 lights. All fuses good. 5 volt DC light comes on occasionally diagnostic light comes on and stays on but unable to test. Blanking light has never come on. Some obvious hacks have occoured. Getting ready to pull the board to look at the back side but obviously some components have been smoked just not sure why. Any suggestions on where to start? I will probably send it out for repair. I have the manual and could replace the toasted transistors and resistors but not sure about the chips and how to test them, or what damage has been done or could happen if I just replace the toasted parts and every energize. I'm wondering if something locked on that likely caused this?

Is the board cracked. Looks like the heavy traces look cracked or split apart.
