Vastly underrated, Williams best non DMD for ME (my opinion) - right after Taxi of course...

I'd love mine if it worked. I have a matrix error somewhere thats preventing it from working 100%. I am in house hunting / work limbo and have no time to fix and set it up. I drove 1000 miles round trip to Rochester NY, brought it home and it was borked bad. Overpaid at $1200 because I was impatient and it was the first time I got "GOT" on a videogame/pin deal ever. I'm Jaded about it, wish I knew someone locally who knew about this shit to give me a hand and not take me for a ride.

Oh and to make matters worse a perfectly resotred one with 100% leds was for sale for $1200 at Pinfest in Allentown. Lesson learned, don't do business with your heart, do it with your head!

Quoted from Hellfire:

Robert how does your mini PF look? I might be interested.

Your mini pf doesn't look too bad, just a little yellowed maybe. They sell vinyl stickers for the lion sword portion. Is that mini pf mylar'd? If not, you can get some ethanol alcohol and a magic eraser and ever so carefully wet sand to clean and it will really pop for you. There are a lot of tutorials on how this process is done on this forum and around the net. I did this to most of my pf as it was de-mylar'd at some point and it really pops now with a good wax job!

I agree, I will get around to making some black ones by the end of the year if nobody else beats me to it.

I need a Left Slingshot Plastic, the only damaged plastic on my entire machine!

Quoted from AndHart120:

Just joined the club myself two weekends ago with a trade to get SOF. I was a little hesitant at first since I had never played this game before, but the more I play it the more I like it! Spent time over the two weeks since I got it cleaning up some things, adding new flippers and adding LEDs. I am left with 2 issues that maybe someone here can help with, both have to do with the drop targets on the mini playfield. The orange "I" drop target is down and will not come back up. It was working when I got the game, but after a week or so it quit. After taking the whole drop target bank, solenoids, and opto board out to clean the targets up, the orange target worked for a couple games, then quit again. Sound like a bad connection somewhere? Also, a few targets sometimes only drop halfway before popping back up. I took the drops off and cleaned up the slots on them, but I still have the issue. Any help/ideas would be great! I am THIS close to having this done and running 100%! Here is a picture of it currently.....

How hard would it be to make Black background ones with grey symbols like the cabinet art? I'd like to black em out! p.s. Sys11 4 Life.

System 11 for the win bruh!

Quoted from volkdrive:

Finally got mine set up, Matt Rasmussen's old SOF, from what I found it went to one party then to PINB on here and after talking to Brian and convincing him shipping to Canada is easy, he sold it to me, super fast a lot like F14 I think and I am lucky to have a nice example. Added some Pinballpro speakers, with the music on this they are a great upgrade....set up next to my Pinbot, WH20 will going beside it as well.. Planning to add a topper that came with my MM when I bought it and a skull shooter rod, maybe try to find a place for a skeleton/coffin from Mezelmods too as I have an extra. Thinking that the way the lights black out sometimes it might be interesting candidate for black pinballs too.

I. Heart. SoF.

Quoted from thedefog:

If anyone near Central NJ has one for sale, lemme know. I'll also trade my Centaur II for one, granted it is in very nice shape.

That would never get it done, SoF is too hot lately to be traded for a lesser title like that.

Quoted from islandpinball:

There are $1,200 SOF's out there.....but mine isn't one of them.
That's the problem with SOF, it hasn't jumped a ton in price over the past 3 years because it's such a hard title to find and many pinheads haven't played it.
Once people play it and find out about it pinheads seem to like it and want it.
LIONMAN hysteria is adding to the legend of the machine and some people want the game now because of all this additional hype. (not great for buyers)
It's hard to find this title in general, it took me 3 years to finally pry mine away from the seller.
Good luck thedefog, if you stay patient you will be able to find it for $1,500 or less.
Thanks
Mike

nah, dont think so bro. If he stays patient, he might find a waterlogged SoF or pinflation will price him out. When these go for sale, they start at $2k, location doesn't even matter.

Quoted from thedefog:

Okay then. I guess I'll have to return the $1500 HUO Funhouse I picked up last year because it didn't happen.
I'm patient. I can wait. People can buy them for $2k+ if they wish. I can't.

There's a sucker born every day! lol

The bane of my existence are the damn flipper leaf switches! PAIN IN THE ASS to tune in, and then they warp out of whack again over time. Are there any tips or tricks to repairing these leafs? Or New old stock or other replacement options? KKTHX! Also attached a pic of my bg with led mods, rgb color changers and flashing white led on the lady's sword

Would these work as replacements???

Quoted from CaptainNeo:

colored LED's for backbox illumination makes Lionman angry.

chocolate / vanilla

I know what you are saying, but I have seen that backglass both ways and I prefer color manipulating it to fit my tastes over the artists. Mostly agree on white GI too, certain areas in the back or under cluster plastics can be tasteful.

But I truly believe there is no right or wrong, just preference.
