I think Titans have better bounce on the flippers than any other non traditional rubber I’ve tried. I like them.

Quoted from CaptainNeo:titans suck. All those non rubber ones blow serious ass when it comes to gameplay. Sure they look great, but sucks to play on. Especially the flippers. Rubber or nothing.
Thanks for your input.
I only use regular white old fashion regular rubber on the playfiled. Better bounce on older games. BUT on the flippers the titans to me play as close to regular rubber then any other silicone rings. They are different I agree, but to me not enough to worry about in the home environment. Plus the colors look nice.

I guess it depends on how often you play out. If you play at others houses a lot for league and play tournaments a lot. it's a huge change. It's not something you want to get used to. If you only play at home all the time, then it doesn't effect you much.
Seems fine on the pic, blending with the wall.
Still hating those repro slingshots colors
Where did you get the new upper flipper?

That's what I was going for. I thought blue posts with white rubbers for castle wall look.
Yeah the sling colors are dark, but still better then the old ones I took off.
The upper flipper I ended up using a plastic spray paint. The finish came out great, but the white in the 3inch flippers are a shade different in color. Close as I can get it. This game was in real bad shape when I got it.
Here's some before and after. I'll do it all over again if the hardtop comes out for this game.

Mine is apart right now, sent the playfields to this guy :
https://www.2niro-pinball.com/
Yours look very similar to mine, wear in the same spots
Am also planning to go with the blue posts but red titans to balance colors out.
Quoted from rottenrobert1313:Thanks guys.
Which starposts are those? Do you think they are light blue or do they have a hint of yellow in them?
-mof
They are the light blue. Got them from Marco , but got the last of them. Had just enough to use on my game.

I like how you did the prismatic drop decals in the colors. Looks good.

Thanks. I can't take the credit for it though. Someone earlier in the thread did it and I liked the way it looked, so I did the same
I can tell you what wasn't fun was the jackpot sticker on top of the drops. Mine was peeling up so I took it of and scanned it. Now I'm no good on a computer and have no idea how to go about photo shop. So..I used Windows paint and pixel by pixel re- colored and printed a sticker on sticker paper. Took forever and sucked so bad, BUT I like the way it turned out.

So I have a question. I put 89 flasher LED's in the game and when I flip the flippers some on the playfiled flicker on and off real quick. So...what would cause that to happen? I assume it's a diode somewhere allowing the flipper voltage to backfeed a few of the flashers. Just not sure where to check?

Thank you. I figured it was something to do with diodes. I already have what I need so this isn't to bad to fix.
I joined the SoF club this weekend. Pin needs some work and to be shopped, but a good project pin. I noticed it appears to have roms labeled "proto" any reason to save these rom files? Could anyone send me the patch to the updated L2 roms? Thanks!
Quoted from Nihonmasa:Hardtop is planned from what I saw on the topic.
Yes, planned but the company is the worst when it comes to communication; ZERO details to date. Patiently waiting for two here. I may have to proceed with sealing the PF, painting touch ups and clearing over. I've really not wanted to go down that road as I have no experience with it. Unfortunately one of the SoF is PF stripped and waiting, waiting, waiting...
Hopefully we hear soon on the Hardtop.
Does anyone happen to know the SoF resistance values for r2-r12 on the interconnect board? Mine are very crispy, some have failed and the schematic is illegible. They seem to be game specific for each sys11. thanks!
Quoted from Seamlesswall:I'm a new proud owner of Swords of Fury. Is there a schematic available? Thanks!
Can be downloaded from the International Pinball Database here....

Just in case anyone was wondering this is what the resistors on my interconnect turned out to be...
R1: jumper - changed to 11 ohm to use standard 89 flasher in mini playfield
R2: 5.6o
R3: 5.6o
R4: 11o
R5: 11o
R6: 11o
R7: 11o
R8: 11o
R9: 5.6o
R10: 4o
R11: 11o
w/r 12: jumper
I just started tearing down my, new to me, Swords of Fury it's missing a thin bumper post to the right of the center ramp. Anyone know specifically what it is and who sells it? A few other problems - cracked but repairable ramps, bubble lifting on the mylar, typical GI connector burn then a hack repair with speaker cable but for 350 bucks for a functioning game why would I complain?

I don’t see cracked ramps as a problem - it’s an opportunity! Freeplay40 ramps in either clear or in transparent red. Mark’s ramps are top notch and better than OEM. I put the clears on mine and really brightened up that corner of the game.
Nice find though.
Swords is up and running very fun game, enjoy the "game to game" jackpot values. Rebuild issues were upper flipper rod never had a nylon sleeve in upper play field. Although functional, the flipper was a little loosy goosy. Have no idea if it originally had one designed in but it does now. Aside from the usual tear down cleaning/waxing replaced all with 47's. In the Magic Tunnel I need to get a nice bright LED bayonet bulb in there. Any suggestions?
One odd thing I ran into, the displays were factory mounted a little high so from my vantage point the upper segments were slightly cut off making it annoying to look at. Fixed that problem right off...
Epoxied and fiberglassed the bottom of ramps where cracks were - using leftover kayak wooden boat epoxy and fine fiberglass.
Anybody who's done a plastic swap have a spare one of these? My shooter lane plastic is broken in two places.
IMG_20190807_211832894 (resized).jpg
Left sling has a rubbed-off spot and right sling has a crack, so I wouldn't mind those either, but not critical.
Have considered a full repro but everything else looks nice, and I feel there's value in originality of some of this stuff.
(Yes, my rubber configuration is wrong, and so is the hardware. One day I will fix this.)
Quoted from mof:Looks fantastic.
blue frames the orange very well
Does no one get this game!?
It’s a dungeon crawler, blue?? Orange?? White??
Black all the way, even if they’re titan. The game is supposed to be dark, mysterious, and maybe have some fire flickering leds in some places. All this color is messing up the theme in my opinion.

I make the decals for the ramp and the drop targets that you made, great job on that one! I had found the original font I think a few years ago when freeplay40 started making the ramps.
Here's all I have

Would be much appreciated if someone could share, or I'm facing a tedious jigsaw puzzle...
Thanks

I’ve got some. If you pm me your email I’ll send through what I have too.

Nice Avatar! Fast becoming my favourite pin.
Hi guys, putting back my pin together, and wondering if anyone would have pics of the mini pf without the plastics so that I can see what goes where?
Would be very much appreciated!

Just finished my restoration. Here you go and a couple of my finished product.

Beautiful!
Did you use the insert decals on this? I have the set that are top side ink so I wasn't sure how well they would hold up to clear.
And you use a full PF protector right over top afterwards? Nice

Nope, all decals made remade with a computer, printed as stencils and then airbrushed.
Yep, cleared and just to be sure the PF protector on top of it. Probably overkill but I want it to stay pristine
Have added 3 spotlights since the above pics in order to light the game a bit more.
