Got em! Thank you!
Quoted from Jabbles180:Any chance of a translucent smoke colored ramp?
Sorry, not in the foreseeable future. Sending pm...
Why didn't I go with red?!?!!?!?!? Those look frikken sic!! Don't get me wrong, the clears look awesome too(haven't installed mine yet) but the red; is simply baddass.
Great job freeplay!
How much for a red upper?

These ramps are awesome! I love mine! Actually I'm going to need to order another set from you if you do another run. Red upper and clear lower.

Have both available!
Got mine today and installed them right away. The quality and service of Mark is superb. I love the look of the clear ramps with a few colored LEDs installed. The only LED I added was a color changer in the far back right corner. I will work on some further lighting improvements later, but here's what my installation looks like for now...makes the whole game look bright and colorful.

Shiny and pretty! Makes it almost look like a prototype
I like the bright illumination of the clear ramps, but I think Williams would have added some colorful decals to parts of the ramps where the hardware underneath would otherwise show. I therefore made up some decals with the blue stone marble look, the cobble stones, and an orange holographic decal for the ramp by the lions face. I think they turned out okay. I printed them on bright white vinyl decal material and they should be durable. Also they can be removed without difficulty if I ever change my mind. I also added an "Advance Bonus.." decal with a black background instead of the clear labels some other folks in this thread have used. I think the yellow text on a clear ramp would not show up that well. Here's a few pictures including one before the decals were added. PM me if you want to know more.
.
Yeah, that's a quality job! Nice work. I think you're right, Williams would have definitely done something like that (why the top right side of the original black ramp never had the cobblestone decals/plastics is beyond me, I always felt that area looked bland because of that).
Hi guys, about to buy one of these and was curious of these ramps (in clear) are still available for purchase? Thanks!

Of course...Actually I would have to make you a set. Assuming you are going to do your own assembly.

Apologies for the delayed reply, from your comment are you suggesting that you no longer do the work of reassembly from old parts? I would prefer you did this given your experience of having done many, but if not, I guess I'll have to give it a go.
I can do the assembly for you. I just assumed you wouldn't want to send me your parts from down under.
I'm going to order at least the upper ramp eventually. The hardest part is going to be picking the color to go with...
Roger that! I put a red upper / clear lower on mine & it looks great but after seeing some pics of those who chose clear upper & the way Leds shine through I went back to Mark & ordered a clear upper as well
I'm thinking clear upper and leaving the black lower. Will make it look fresh without changing the look/feel of the game too much I think.

I'll just offer one consideration for you. Seeing the various combinations first hand, my favorite combination is clear upper and clear lower. My next favorite combination was a clear upper and a red lower. The real point I want to make is that if you stay with a black lower ramp, you will lose a tremendous amount of illumination to the upper ramp. Under the plastic to the left of the lower ramp there are 5 or 6 GI bulbs. With a clear or colored lower ramp, that illumination comes up very nicely to the upper ramp... Just sayin'
I had a couple international guys that ordered clear upper ramps and both a clear and red lower ramp.

I've fallen off the planet with other things and have delayed ordering my ramps, but this is what I intend to do: clear upper with clear and red lower. I couldn't decide from the pictures so I'm hedging my bets on the lower color. As soon as I get time to take mine apart and ship the ramps I'll be ordering.
I think I'm going to paint my upper black, and leave my lower red, I still want the game to feel stock, but have the mysterious smokey red glowing cave
I also bought a set of wood grain ramps to see what the combo of those looked like, crazy I know. But what the heck. I plan to pull my pf and have it repaired and clear coated... All I need is time
... Then off to restoring and shop out and new ramps!

Ooh, I like the sound of that. Post some pics when you get them installed!

Ummmm.... Like....this one?
Ooooooo, nice
One could create false cracks in the paint by scraping away paint in an artful way, leaving a place for light to shine through making it look like hot brimstone.
I have done similar with cooling towers.
Perhaps I missed it, but has anyone been able to get their Cliffy protectors on the power ramp without modifying the Lionman plastic? I can't seem to get them to work together to save my life. I noticed in the OP's pic the end of his plastic is broken off.
edit, actually I can't get either of my Cliffy's to fit my lower ramp with the plastics/gate.

I just checked the fit on the machine I have here and the protectors fit fine. There are two posts at the entrance that also hold down the flap. The protectors attach to those posts... The two posts slightly upstream from the entrance are for the gate mechanism.
Quoted from Sinbad:are these still available, how do i get my grubby hands on these?
PM me... I still have a few sets

would love a set of these decals too...any chance?
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Got a tiny bit of free time today... did a little custom cut / etch mirror and a couple LED strips on the lower ramp.
Awesome job Mark! Great service, and great product!IMG_20160416_170641277_(resized).jpgIMG_20160416_170623224_HDR_(resized).jpg
That looks awesome!

FAST Pinball
Quoted from CaptainNeo:looks great, but are you even going to see it? that whole section is covered.
He will see it if he has clear upper ramp... Sort of, hehe
im not sure what to do here, order the clear or go with the black?
the original black is a matte finish, the new is (maybe) too glossy?
what are peoples experiences/opinions?
Does anybody who replaced their ramps have a decent condition used upper PF ramp for sale? PM me.
thanks
Kris

Freeplay40 I’m now a proud owner of Swords of Fury, conplete with some sad looking expoied ramps. Wondering if stock of repro ramps still exists?

Well, I don't do stock black ABS ones, but I still make clear and transparent colored ones.
Received clear ramps from Freeplay40
They look amazing. I’ll post pics once they are installed.
