I wouldn't turn it on, play a game, turn it off, hit the bathroom, turn it on, play a game, turn it off, grab a drink, turn it on, play a game sort of thing. I would just leave it on for a few hours while everyone was wanting to play and turn it off when everyone is done for the evening.

They use about 300W, if it has incandescent lights. At 12cents a kWh you'll use about 3.6 cents per hour or 43 cents if you leave it on 12 hours. You won't hurt anything just leaving it on. They were made to be in arcade left on all day. I have games on location that are on 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and I've not had anything abnormal happen to them that I don't have happen to the games at home...probably less so.
