    The logic components of EMs are very durable, reliable, adjustable, and repairable, once you get used to them. No need to overthink or to reinvent it.

    I suggest that you look at the very first thread started by NicoVolta , where he asked 7 years ago about replacing EM logic with arduino. He never did, and he’s become a big EM person. He even eventually went across the country working on EMs. Here’s a link to that thread, which has just recently been updated:
